Yes Mum had a habit of dressing us in the same clothes.
Dad obviously on leave from Royal Australian Navy and taking us in to Sydney - the big smoke for the day. Mum took the picture.
Used to walk across the footbrige every day and catch the train in to St James to go to school at St Mary's Cathedral.

Me and my brother had a similar problem and I see nothing has changed after all these years 'looking at your avatar'.

I used to go to Sydney every Saturday on the train - to the cinema or just shopping - with my friend Carol. The trains were pretty primitive I remember. It only cost us 6d return then in '65 and just before decimilization. Loved the city and the train ride in. |
