Toni & Royce
Anyone remember these two? They came to school with a puppet show some years back when my children were in primary school. |

A little bit off the subject but there used to be concerts at the Sidney Myer Music Bow and they would have the likes of Normy Rowe, Billy Thorpe Ray Browne etc, and one day we wagged school and all went, I jumped on the stage and dragged Normie Rowe to the floor, and I was on the 6 O'clock news wasnt I, I was in full school uniform, Miss Mason made a meal out of that one, I got called to the headmistresses office and had to sit on the stage at school assembly, the only good thing about is was that the head prefect at the time was a guy called Rod Cordell and he was georgous, even his name is georgous, and I got to sit next to him, I was thrilled. I followed his progress for years, he came back as a student teacher and ended up a real do gooder in Williamstown, had a house on Nelso Place just about the only house there near where the pubs and that are, and it must have cost a fortune, I loved those bands back then, MPD included, they played at the Sunshsine dance as well _________________ If its to be its up to me |

I was a teenager, but didn't get up to anything near that much fun, lol. Obvously too much of a goody goody at that time. My, how things change, hehe _________________ Resident of Altona Hostel, 1963-1965 |
