Very Happy i am patrick john lenaghan..we sailed from tilbury on 17 jan 1951..we were housed in bunnerong hostel..my parents were among the british migrants caught up in the non payment of increased fees being charged by C.H.A..and were at one stage, with many,evicted..my brother and two sisters attended matraville school..my father gained employment at the then new power station in penrith..we lived in the caravan park on the banks of the nepean river..we were lucky that after a year or so we were allocated a housing commision house in penrith.mum and dad are no longer with us, but both were involved with penrith RSL..dad as the celler man mum with the ladies branch..one sister and my brother still live in penrith area..in 1963 i went to england for a working holiday, finished up broke in london and joined the british army, served in Aden and two tours to northern ireland..i returned to australia in 1974 ,and in may 75 joined australian army and served till 1996. am retired now my wife of 44 years and i live on the gold coast..

....would be nice to find anyone from those times,i think remembering faces from60 years ago would be a problem.. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
