My dad Jim Gunner worked at Maralinga , Woomera, in 1950to1956 ish I think.

Hi Jacqueline,

I'm part of a project researching hostels in South Australia. We've had quite a people who went through Gepps Cross get in touch. We're holding a series of events in May to try to find more: http://abouttime.sa.gov.au/search/node/hostel and in 2014 we hope to have a number of reunions at the Migration Museum.

If you're interested there's more information, including a registration form (look closely, pdf, top right) here: http://migration.historysa.com.au/research/callouts/hostel-stories

We'd love to hear from you!

CAtherine

Hello Catherine,

I have tried to fill in the form but to no avail.

Dad and Mum, moved to Gepps Cross Hostel in 1953 from Comslie Hostel in Qld. Rod and I wee only a few months old and we lived at the hostel for abut 2 or 3 years, before moving to our home in Modbury.
Would be interested in meeting anyone who was also there at that time.

Thank you, Jacqueline Gunner. (sent you a PM , but realise now that you are from the museum.

Hi again Jaqueline,

We've had some problems with the online form, I'm trying to get it fixed and waiting to hear back from the web team.

If you send me your e-mail address in a PM or e-mail [email protected] then I can forward the form as a word document if that makes it easier?

We'd love to hear more from you.

Warm regards,

Catherine
