hi our family arrived from Scotland august 1965 and lived at east hills hostel until[ 1967.as young boys myself and my brother billy had the best of times ,fishing/shooting /swimming and just running amuck ,what a great country this is...there are 4 children in our family george/billy/janet and lucy graham /does anyone remember us,george was the oldest at 12

Hi George. I was on East Hills Hostel from Aug 1966 till just before November 1968. I remember a George, but I cant remember a face. Any chance you can mount a photo of yourself? Preferably whilst at the Hostel. We wouldn't recognize each other now! :)

sorry I haven't any photos but we lived pretty close to the river,we were hardly ever at school because we were out shooting or fishing but always up to no good,dont know why but we managed to get in a lot of fights,but have more good memories than bad..my brother billy played for the hearts but I didn't although I trained with them..i do remember breaking in to the canteen on a regular basis ,just before they opened which used to upset a few staff as a great big line would form and they would all be sitting at a table smoking....this might jog a few memories...
