I stayed there in the late seventies. I was a comparatively young migrant and I remember a bit of a discussion as to where I should go. I wore a migrant badge. It was decided to send me there and I got the impression that I was one of the lucky ones. I was there for three months before getting a place of my own. I remember the baked bean sandwiches! Coogee beach I thought lovely and Maroubra I remember. A long time ago now! _________________ Lliwen |
