Hi everyone, my name is Emily.

My father lived in the migrant hostel at Camp Road, Broadmeadows when he arrived in Australia (from Czechoslovakia) in 1969, and worked at the Ford Factory.

I'm also a writer, and I'm currently researching for a novel based on my father's story, and those of other migrants who arrived around the same period and who lived in the migrant hostels. I'd love to make contact with you if you would be willing to talk with me about your experience.
