Our family left the Hostel in 1970. We moved to Denise Street, Lake Heights, Warrawong. We stayed at Lake Heights up until November 1973 from which we returned to the UK.
I live now in a small town in the North West. Gt Harwood, Blackburn, Lancashire. |

Well shiver mi timbers, that?s amazing.
Queens Park is only about a 10 minute drive from where I live.
My girl friend lives down by the infirmary Hospital, Blackburn which means I have to drive past the queens Park Hospital each time I go there.
Small world.!! :)
Have you got an address for queens Park?
Perhaps If I?m passing I could see if I can get a photo of the place.

That would be great Len,

I think it was number 32 but not positive , anyway it was the last house without bay windows on the left going up from Queens Park Road. |

31 Ripon street, Queens Park , Blackburn.
Roy this is a photo of your Parents old home before you moved. You can just make out the house number plate.
Sorry about the photo quality but it was a horrible day, plus we felt a little bit uncomfortable as the area is now predominantly Asian, so we had to sneak while taking the pictures. hehe

While we were in the vicinity we had a walk up to the Queen?s Park boating lake. I'm sure you will remember?
