Hi all,

I'm working on a project called Hostel Stories. There's an outline of the project and team here: http://migration.historysa.com.au/files/resources/research/callouts/76-hostel-stories-newsletter-april-2013.pdf

At the moment we're interested in migrant hostels in South Australia. So far we know of at least fourteen different hostels, and counting.

If you lived at a migrant hostel, reception centre or camp in South Australia we'd love to hear from you. You can contact us via [email protected] or find out more at the link above.

There will an exhibition at the Migration Museum in December 2013, and we'll be holding a series of 'reunions' in 2014.

Looking forward to hearing many more hostel stories

I should have also added that we're running some events during the History Festival in May to talk to people about the South Australian hostels and our project. You can find all the events here:
