Hello I am a new person to this forum. I emigrated with my family Australia in 1954. We were housed at Heathcote Hostel from 1954 to 1958. We arrived in Australia on the SS New Australia. We were supposed to go to Melbourne but they changed it to Sydney during the voyage. I can't remember which hut we were in but my parent's names were Harry and May Baker, my brother David was 15 and I was 9.
