Hi there, I moved from UK to Aus in 1961 and went first to East Hills hostel, when it was all Nissan huts. Unbelievable - it was in the middle of nowhere. But guess what, we stayed there for years! Then Dad became a manager himself! So I spent from 1961 to approx 1973 living in hostels, in Vic, NSW and Qld. Met many many people, lots of friends and I'd love to catch up with them. I work as an archivist and I do know that many hostel records are available from Aus National Archives. _________________ David Povey
