Hi Len.

My name is Dave and I live in Wollongong.
I stayed at Unanderra hostel many years ago; I was only a very very young lad so I have no memories of it at all. Unfortunately both of my parents are no longer with us.
I am interested in your site to see what it was like in those days.
Keep up the good work and thank you for taking the trouble of producing your site.
Brilliant idea.

Many thanks
Dave.

Welcome wombat.

Thank you for you is kind words I hope it does become a place of interest to all.
Sorry to here about your parents I am sure they could have told us a lot about their experiences at the Hostel
I am familiar with Wollongong as kids (13-15 years old) we used to catch the bus into Wollongong which was only 10 minute away. We often went to a modelling shop on King Street near the train station to buy our supplies for our hobby, which was flying model aircraft. lol
Do feel free Dave to join in any of the topics that might arise.
