Hi my name is Jean, and I'm a VCE student at school.

For one of my outcomes, i have to write a story from an immigrant's point
of view. In my story i have said that my character came from Ethiopia in 1977 to Australia and ended up going to Midway Hostel.

I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me a little more about what happened at Midway? What was the accommodation like? What things did you do during the day? Did you enjoy staying there?

So if anyone could reply to this it would be much appreciated.
