Well fancy that! We can swap goss at the reunion if you like- what series do you like the best? I'm mostly a Next Gen and Enterprise person. I've met 3 captains, Patrick Stewart was at a convention in Melbourne a few weeks ago. |

Oh I just EXIST between one convention and the next! That's why I work, to support my con habits. We're going to be spoilt rotten in Melbourne this year, you can come to one with me if you like. Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis (Riker and Troi) are coming in August. You'd have a great time, we're like a brotherhood. I went to the 40th. anniversary Las Vegas convention in 2006. It was amazing. Saw Shatner and Nimoy on stage together. It went for 4 days. My favourite hunks are Brent Spiner, Scott Bakula and Connor Trinneer. I've got a life-size cardboard Data in my garage (our Victoria calls it "THE SHRINE" If you can hire the TREKKIES 2 dvd, you might see a familiar eejit from Geelong...we're on scene 14 in the Australian section. It's a good laugh. |

I did'nt realise that they held thr trekkie conventions in Melbourne Judith, I knew there had been one in Sydney a few years ago, apart from the few fellows I knew when I was working, that followed the series, you are the only real Trekkie I know how good is that,You know Judith when I watch one of the trek shows I am just oblivious to what goes on around me, it really relaxes me,I just love them.xxx |
