Hi Len, Ilived on Norlane Hostel 66-68 aged 12/14 When Bela Szardy was manager. My Dad Ted Hill worked there in Maintenence/boiler room and Mum Joan Hill worked in the canteen with Ivy Amison. I remember lots of good times, the youth club in the recreation hall and the different functions for all the families and the xmas ...parties of which were all organised by the families, to mention a few [ Mum & Dad, Ced & Shirley Friend, Vic & Jenny Maas, Pete & Doreen Quince and many others]. Fond memories. |
