I went through the A. Wilsons(s) tonight and reached Alan Wilson! He was greatly disappointed to hear of the reunion at such late notice as he would dearly love to be there. Alan and sister Gail Wilson had a longtime cimmittment in Bendigo this Saturday. Alan asks if Pat will be down for a few days so they can catch up?

P.S. I'll bring a salad on Saturday.

It's not looking too bad now, and will be clearing in the afternoon.
I've made some signs about 15x5 inches long, with the names of all confirmed families. (20 so far.)
These can be used to "mark our territory" so that no-one is guessing which families are sitting where- as we've all changed so much. Also they can be held up when we're taking family group photos.

See y'all tomorrow- and Carol and Linda, you have my deepest sympathy. been thinking of you all day since I heard the news. cry

Hi everyone....What a day it has been, BBQ cooked to perfection by the Logan chaps, plenty of salads donated by the ladies and even the weather was kind to us.
It was so good to meet up with folk we met over forty years ago and especially seeing the you men and women who were young children still when we left the hostel. Especially Nora, Mary and Doreen Griffin
Carol and Linda Myers did a wonderful job, along with Margaret McKeeman getting everything together, thank you.
Hope we keep in touch now, even if it is only through this website and facebook and maybe meet up again, this time next year...Here is hoping.

Hope your eyes are ok Susan after peeling all those onions....(*:*)
