Hi all,
I migrated with my parents and siblings from UK at the age of 13, arriving at Heathcote Road Hostel on 8th May 1965. Had a fairly bad time with school attendance at East Hills Boys High and got into strife. In '66 moved to western suburbs of Sydney attending Homebush Boys High. Left school at 16 completed Electrician apprenticeship then joined Royal Australian Navy. Married Oz girl (35yrs). Became citizen 1979. 4 children, 7 grandchildren and still get called a pom. LOL.
Would love to chat with anyone who remembers me or not.
regards Geoff. _________________ Heathcote Rd Hostel 8/5/65 - 1966. Residing in Victoria since 1973. |
