I have heard from Fia Slee. Does anyone remember the Dutch family, the Slees, they were on the hostel for a year in 1961. There were 9 in the family, they lived near the rec hall.
Fia is going to be at the reunion with her sister Maria and also bringing Mrs. Lewis who used to work in the office. Smile

Oh that's great, I loved Mrs. Lewis, she was my first port of call getting off the bus each day, to see if there was any mail.

I wasn't in the hostel with the Slees, but we went to school with the younger ones in Altona later on.

I remember Mrs Lewis well, the slees I cant recall, gosh we are getting bigger and bigger which is great.

Yes, I remember the Slees- Fia, Kitty and Lucas. I know there were more of them! They lived in Galvin St Altona. Fia and Lucas went to St Mary's Williamstown ( where I knew them) and Kitty and I endured St Joe's in 1964. She still looks the same as she did 50 years ago!!
