Hi to all this the first time I have used this site my name is Chris Slattery. my family and I lived on Williamstown hostel as it was know then from 1959 to 1962. My family were my father Chris, mother Edna, brother Steven and sister Susan. Reading some of the posts on this site brings back some memories, some the families who were our friends were the McVeighs, Riddells, Shaws, Manns, Brydens, Kilgariffs, Pattersons and many more that I will record as time permits. If anyone who knows us reads this it would be great to hear from them. regards |

Hi Chris, you don*t know me, but My mother may have known your mother and my sister Caroline i*m sure will know your sister. The reason I*m telling you all this is ; to let you know the really buzzing site on the forum is the ALTONA HOSTEL forum which you*ll find 3/4 of the way down the page. Have a gander. I*m sure you will enjoy. regards Danny McKeeman. |
