Great photos. I remember that basketball match we mothers played against our daughters, we had a couple of the husbands and fathers umpiring it. The girls did not stand a chance, but I remember being knackered after it...But really good fun....lo.

I remember that day Olwen, we got thumped and slapped and I remember my mum coming up to me and telling me to hand over the ball lol lol, which I did too. that was a great day,We really did have good times.

I think they bullied us into surrendering the ball to them every time we got it..thats my excuse and I am sticking to it

I remember, it was "GIVE ME THE BALL OR ELSE" and the umpires calling to favour us...You poor kids dis not stand a chance...But we mums did love you, you know Laughing

The umpires had to favour you,you where married to them,your right Olwen we never stood a chance,but a good time was had by all,and seems like it has stuck in the memory banks as well

Does anybody know who the other woman is in the ice skating pic with my dad olwen and margaret?? I remember the face but cannot put a name to it!!

I remember Maude Matthews, she was from Belfast and had three girls.
The youngest had fuzzy white hair.
