Hi John,
Now you mention it I do remember it being called the circle. I can only remember one name from back then and that is Mickey Morsen, I think that's the right spelling. I think he may have gone to Holy Family catholic school, but I'm not sure. We used to go and play at the "rec", do you remember that. I used to think it was the "wreck" but i couldn't see any wreck there. Very confusing when you're really young.
I'll try to remember some names but I don't think it will be that easy.
Cheers

I was about 13 or 14 my Dad had a small motor bike (BSA Bantam) that was always breaking down, this young Irish bloke was always giving Dad a hand to get it going again, I used to love watching them Pete was 7 yrs older than me and back then it never occured to me that anybody would be interested in me but surprise surprise we ended up married when I was 21 - sadly asbestos caught my Pete in its clutches and he died in 2002 but I have memories that keep me company for the rest of my life. _________________ Loved my time in the silver citys, as a child it was all an adventure |

Hi WarbyWok,
That's a lovely story, but sad to lose someone you love. But you can never lose those precious memories.
Regards
