well cause of trouble in Egypt and with Australia and bush fires, floods and so on and so forth, we have settled for Fuerteventura, now looking forward to that. Really would be happy to go to Australia but like to see other places too and so will have to leave Australia a couple more years yet. I want to see as much of the planet before the good lord calls for me.

OMG Eileen that is where the wreck of the Australis is,I would love to go there just for that,I am not sure though if you can still see it,they have a museum just off the beach there dedicated to the ship.
What a great ship to have ended up the way it did

This sounds great Judith,now all we have to so is try to contact every body who doesn't come on this site anymore! I will email Andy and I think he is in contact with a lot of them and Linda still contacts Annette and Angie,I am seeing Sue today so I will speak to her then she can contact Olwen!!! mm might not be that difficult after all

If everyone contacts whoever is in their circle, we would definitely get the target of 20 to a bus, then add others if required. We do have a list of the others who attended last year. We could drink ourselves to death @ the wineries, then sing on the bus on the way home like old times. Laughing

Hi everybody just read Carols email and came straight to the site, a trip to a winery sounds real good and singing songs on the way home splattered would be a buzz. I have a heavy rigid licence so can drive anything up to a forty seat bus if we go that way and hire a bus, i guess I will leave that to you guys which way we go. I will also email Phil Marsh to see if he will come also

Hi Andy,hope you don't intend to drive the bus whilst "splattered".
It might limit your day (drinking wise) if you are the designated driver,I suggest you sit back and enjoy yourself with everybody else and let someone else do the driving!! Just a suggestion Smile

Hi Carol I thought about the driving bit, but it may have come out wrong I would not be driving plastered so no need to worry there, I just thought I would mention re my heavy endorsed licence. Anyway may I suggest picking up a few local people in my 46 Buick (betsy)for a tour on the nominated day (or any other) as long as you know you will not be wearing a seat belt as the car is legal on the road without them, and anyway I dont speed, when does the reunion looklike happening? has a day been pick yet, Cheers Andy
