Hello,
my parents were "10pound poms," travelled on the ship Asturias I think in 1950 or 1951,
I am the first born twin Jacqueline , then followed Rodney, in 1953 in Brisbane Womens Hospital.
My parents were Jim and Hilda Gunner.
I have just read a post from Laz(?) who says my parents were God parents.
Would love to know more.
Mum and Dad have passed on now but not a lot was said about the years in the hostel.

Hello again,
I have just through the posts and realise the name of the chap is Les Lavender.(God son to my parents)
So Les it would be good to hear from you.
