I was Twelve years old when my family and I sailed on the SS Strathnaver. We stayed at Berkeley Hostel and I often wonder what happened to people I used to know there. Would love to hear anything about a girl called Pat Jeffreis or Jeffrey
Happy New Year

Hi Rob and welcome.
Happy new year to you too, it great having you here. I too was only a young 9yr old going on 10 when our family arrived at Unanderra hostel back in 1967 and as kids me and my brother had a blast. My parents also enjoyed there once in a life time experience. I bet many other ex resident wonder the same things.
Its a strange feeling having had many memories of the hostel life, yet when you tell people about it they look at you in somewhat disbelief and the worse thing is, theres no one around who can back you up and say, yeah, it was like that. I sometimes think back and wonder, was it all a dream, was it real?
