Do you think any of us will recognize each other, we will definately have to wear name tags with our maiden names on them, I know I look a little bit different than I did back then, the red hair and freckles are still there _________________ If its to be its up to me |

Name tags will definitely be a MUST HAVE I think. lol I know I have changed heaps. I don't think there is anything about me that would be recognisable now. _________________ Resident of Altona Hostel, 1963-1965 |

I am sure Cathy Mcleod married Jimmy Minto, they lived up near me in Seaholme for a while, I used to talk to her all the time a nice girl she was, they had a couple of kids, dont remember much more than that, Kept in touch a fair bit with the Brydens, Nan, Rosemary, and Wallace as my mum was best friends with there mum _________________ If its to be its up to me |

I used to work with Howard Minto for a little while, late 80's, and Cathy and Jimmy were living out Mooroolbark way. |

The McLeods lived round the back of us in Grieve Parade but I rarely saw them, just knew which house they lived in. |

Hiya Carole, I know what you mean, I can't wait for the reunion either , but if we leave it till round about Anzac Day, it will give everyone more time to find more people that haven't found the website yet. what do you think? It's going to be a fantastic reunion .but I'll be there, whenever it is xxx |

How about advertising it in places like magazines, ie Woman's Day, That's Life etc. They have social pages just right for that sort of thing, and I'm sure that some of our old hostelees would read them, or some people who do read them might know some ex hostel folk.
I'm happy to do it if I get the go ahead to do so. _________________ Resident of Altona Hostel, 1963-1965 |

Yes Susan that would be great, I was thinking along the same lines. If you would like to do some of the magazines, that would free me up to focus on the local papers when the time comes. |
