...so we're having a little gathering in Geelong this Friday, to revisit Eastern Beach which is featured in so many photos on the Altona thread. Carol, Linda, Susan and myself are attending so far, anyone else will be most welcome. We'll meet around 12 (PM me for details) and go out for lunch and a gossip.

So jealous I dont live in Melbourne riht now (not really with all the heat) but these little reunions you are having and I am missing out on them all, oh well I will just have to waite till April, working on getting Doreen there at the moment, here is hoping

Yes Nora is coming, we are looking for some accommodation as close to Williamstown as possible, dont trust those two girls on there own, they could get lost in a public toilet, they are hopeless, I think anyone that had been in a car with them with either one of them driving would agree, they get lost in the hospital carpark lol. If anyone knows of any let me know, also looking at borrowing my brothers car as he owes me huge for all the times he has been up here and borrowed mine, I intend on pulling in a few favours, we will try for going down Friday night and coming back MOnday morning if that is ok with the girls, or maybe late on Sunday night, the later the better, havent discussed it fully yet with girls, just thinking out loud, the plane fair with Doreen is a problem, might have to book a more expensive flight in case there are any changes to be made because of her condition, maybe date changes etc. either way we will be there

you can stay with Linda and me we dont live near williamstown but I am sure we can give you a lift with us Laughing

,we can also pick you up at the airport just say the word..if you need any help re Doreens fair..just say the word I am sure we can come up with some help in that area too

I have a really good snorkle and goggles, Re Doreens fare, thanks heaps I would pay the lot buy she wouldnt let you, I will work on her as I know finances cant be all that good with two non workers on pensions, I could lie about how much the fare is, thats a thought might do that

Well if anybody is looking for transport and needs a lift to from airport or Willy etc I can throw my hat in the ring as I have a 4wd in the garage and also a company station wagon so there will be plenty of room for people and baggage etc Just say the word ok, as I'm not far from the airport. and if anybody needs digs for the weekend I have a spare bedroom also Cheers Andy
