I think we should all take some Camera courses for the big day so we can have some great photos, I have a new hybrid camera, (a cross between a point and shoot and slr) and I have done a small course, so here's hoping it all pays off on the big day, might have to get a tripod to get us all into a shot, we will need a huge zoom, maybe someone with a great dslr with a huge zoom could take a photo for us _________________ If its to be its up to me |

I understood it, but am hopeless with anything more complicated than a point and shoot. I was happy with the good old Brownie Box. _________________ Resident of Altona Hostel, 1963-1965 |

What I mean is if we have 70 people, your average point and shoot wont get us all in whereas one of those realy pro cameras will get us all in and we will see all our faces clearly, then we can all get a copy and know who we are instead of having some people a blur. I wonder how much a professional would charge for half an hour so we can have some great pics to show off four years to come, I will work on my technique and get myself a tripod to put camera on with the delayed shot so I can run around and get into the shot, As you can see I am taking all this very seriously _________________ If its to be its up to me |

70 people? I wish!
Can't promise anything, but a professional video cameraman may be an asset.... |

Pretty sure it does. It certainly has tables with benches to sit at. _________________ Resident of Altona Hostel, 1963-1965 |

What T.F is a chili choc ice cream,I know what it sounds like ,but you can't seriously tell me that they have ice cream with "chili "????and whats more that you actually EAT it
Anyway sounds good re the barbies I think we can organize a great big sausage sizzle with loads of onions and stuff ,then we can send Sue out for her disgusting ice cream
Sounds good hey Eileen??? _________________ Carol Myers Altona Hostel Dec 1962 - June 1964 |

lol. Chili-choc is quite a taste sensation. Try it before you knock it.
Yep. PLENTY of onions, and garlic too.
We can bring our own meat/seafood and each bring a salad and maybe a dessert to share. What do you all think? _________________ Resident of Altona Hostel, 1963-1965 |
