What do you reckon? We could continue to keep in touch after the reunion, have meetups from time to time, and keep our own archives so that our memories will never be lost. I hereby volunteer to be foundation member #1. |

Me 4, lol. To "charter" a Lions club you need to have 20 members. We might even make a charter ourselves. hehe _________________ Resident of Altona Hostel, 1963-1965 |

My sister might know a few lurks in that direction.
We could just have a multiple memoirs, and fling it all together.
If it ever comes to anything, I did a little publishing course one time and know a bit about layout and artwork. I used to work in the art room of a platemakers one time. (It's now part of Melbourne Central. Another art room I worked in is now the Remand Centre. )
I knew someone who wrote and published a book on the inmates of Brooklyn Hostel. |

This all sounds great and I would love to get my hands on a copy of the Brooklyn Hostel book, may give us some ideas and I will have a look into tracing back on the history of the hostel when it was used as an army billet for soldiers who used to use the the rifle butts up the road for shooting training. They built houses there now and the company that flattened the butts made a killing on the recovered lead that had been pumped into them for all those years. I still remember the shooting clubs that used to have little shacks just inside the fence and listening to them practice when I sat in class in Willy Tech |
