I am new to this forum - how widespread is it? Do we know how many are interested/will turn up/will be recognised/will be totally disallusioned!

Hey Pat, do you know if the Wheelers have been contacted, Gail & Alan Wilson, Nan Bryden - little Jeannie Miller??? I caught up with Jimmy McVeigh and told him about the event - he actually has a 16mm movie taken in the Nissan Hut (Rec.Hall)! Could be really great to see!!! Jimmy remembered more names than I did on the footy team photo and had more actual memories of people and events. Will try and contact the Slattery boys/and Susan to see if they are aware of the reunion. More later.

Good idea with the stickers as names and faces are a distant past,,,and anything to jog the alsheimers will help,,, lol Very Happy

No Anne, I don't know who has been contacted out of that list, I know Nan is on the site and puts a piece in now and again, would love to see Gail Wilson, Alan Wilson Susan Slattery and the like again, surely someone must be able to get in touch. Looking for June McBride and (Oh the name has gone) but there were two who were in my class at Willi High Nan sees June now and again and I have asked her to get her to come, wish I knew there married names.

Gwen Cross is the other name after June Mcbride, they live in Altona Meadows

I spoke to Jimmy McVeigh - his Dad is not in the soccer team photo - he filled in a few other gaps tho and is going to try and remember them all - I know Mr. Bryden and Mr. Miller are in the photo - Jimmy said the other guy used to do boxing training for them in the rec. hall. Drew Miller was in the photo. I'll give the Slattery boys a ring, I'm sure they will be interested. Did you know a John Patterson, 10 years or so older than us - lovely man - he's going to come too -

I think the Pattisons moved to Williamstown, there was a girl a little older than me, a younger girl about my sisters name and that lad you were talking about Anne, gosh where do you find these people
