Hi there
Just found this website.
I was at Dundas Migrant Hostel from 1966-1968 with my parents and my older brother.
I went to Oatlands school and remembered Mr. Bowman.
My brother went to Macquarie Boys High.
I can remember quite a bit about the hostel.
My mother used to teach in the pre school kindergaten on the premises.
I have some old photos somewhere
will have to find them.

Hi Linda, Welcome to our forums.

I wasn�t at Dundas Hostel myself but others here have.
If you do find those photos then please share them with us. Simply email them to me and I�ll add them to the forums (after I�ve added your families name and date onto them).

Hello Linda, hope you can locate your photos, I'm expecting to recognise you and your brother.

Incidentally, I don't suppose you know the date the hostel closed to the migrant popullation? I know it was used as a discharge base for the soldiers returning from Vietnam some time in the early 70s.

Seems like photos of Dundas are rare. There must be some out there, all I have is one of the railway station.
