|
|
Can anyone bring a folding "welcome/registration" table? I'm happy to do front of house and provide stickers for name tags. I can also bring a rubber stamp to put on hands of those who have paid for the BBQ (this would prevent any "chancers" from off the street taking advantage). And a ghetto-blaster and CDs of all our wonderful old 60's fossils. I got the double CD of HEARTBEAT, that would be a good start. My Victoria's boyfriend has been conscripted to be the film crew, he does school concerts etc.
I will also take care of signage- just let me know what we'll need.
Can we think of anything else? |

I have got loads of music on my IPhone that plays through my cars audio system,so between us we will have some good stuff for all day.
Yep Judith you do all the name tags and hand stamps while IA am making sure they have paid there money, and once it is all in,we will go through all the reciepts and make sure nobody is out of pocket..we are just about organised,..apart from..have we decided on a deffinate time? I am thinking about 11.00 as we dont want to start cooking as soon as we get there we have a lot of people to meet and greet,so we will have to give ourselves time for that. What do you all reckon ? _________________ Carol Myers Altona Hostel Dec 1962 - June 1964 |

Yep 11 am sounds good to me, but I will be getting there much earlier as we are not allowed to take the trailer bbq on to the reserve (precious vegetation) but there is 90 angle parking in the side street so I can set up there and its only a small log fence and 3 mtrs away form where we can gather. Cheers Andy Ps cheque went through bank today so I should be getting our permit and insurance paperwork in the mail soon. |

weather
all you melbournites start praying to the weather gods. I don't want to come down there and break your whatever year drought for you. There has. To be a few Christians amongst you, time to cash in those brownie points for some good weather _________________ If its to be its up to me |
