Hi My name is Val we arrived in australia from UK with my parents and two younger sisters on the Fairsky and lived at Bradfield park Hostel in 1961 living there for two years. What an experience does anyone remember the canteen with there unforgetable cold spagetti and baked bean sandwiches? ugh. Fish and Chips and Jelly and Icecream every Friday.
What about the great downhill paths between the cabins for roller skating.
Unfortunately I don't have any photos, does anyone have any photos 1961-1963?
Have met a couple of people since who lived on hostel but did not know them previously.
