My name is Jim Robinson I arrived at Heathcote Road Hostel in October 1954. My parents were Alex and Winnie and my brother Raymond. We lived in 45A. We sailed to Australia on the SS New Australia it left from Southhampton and took about 4 weeks. We were the first migrants on that hostel. Everybody called it The Camp. I knew just about everybody that lived there at that time. I seen my photo in the Scout Group 1957 some one posted. The group was called 1st. Williams Creek. |
