I can't recall the official name of the hostel, it was once a grand old Victorian Mansion, modern motel style accommodation was added in the sixties at the rear.
The address is 407 Marrickville Rd Dulwich Hill Sydney.

After a liitle research I discovered the name of the Hostel it was "Orana"
Thanks to the State Library of NSW, they have photo's on their website taken in 1969-70.
