My name is Alan Wilson I was 10 years old when we arrived at Williamstown I have two sisters Gail and Rita and two brothers Paul and Glyn.
We sailed on the Sitmar line ship the Fairstar leaving England in April 1960.
My schools I went to were North Willy then Willy Techfor one year then Altona North Tech.
I started work at Hobsons Bay Dock And Engineering in Willy as a apprentice boilermaker.
