Sorry find this site very confusing! So could have already put this post on , but could not find so guess not.
My late husband, two year old Son and myself boarded the ship in 1969 and had New year in the Canary Islands, then half a day to look around Freemantle. We were agog, it reminded us of an old cowboy movie set, complete with tumble weeds blowing down wide streets. Then sailed on to NSW, Sydney harbour was so beautiful. I remember the first rain we encountered it was warm, of course from England, we never felt warm rain!!
I look forward to reading on this site ( if I manage to work stuff out) what other migrants have done, and where they are.
