Hi. My name is Brian Wiles, and I arrived at Bunnerong hostel in January , 1955. We originally arrived in Australia in 1951 on the New Australia under the Army Resettlement Scheme, and went to Orange hostel. We lived in Orange until 1955 when we came down to Sydney. I think we were given accomodation at Bunnerong because my father had become a cook on the staff there. We remained at the hostel until my father took us back to the UK in April 1958. I went to Matraville Primary. We returned to Australia as TPPs on the Stratheden in September, 1962 and were placed initially at Bradfield Park hostel in Sydney.
