Hi Phil
You would have been at East Hills when my late husband was Manager there. My twins went to Hammondville school.
Neville would have been the "skip" when you were there and later it would have been John.
Loved your post _________________ Kind regards,

Hi phil, welcome to our forums.
Sounds as though you had as much fun as we did when our family stayed at one of the hostels. We were down near Wollongong (Unanderra Hostel). We also had a bloke named skip. It was his job to take care of the hostels recreations facilities, soccer, swimming and indoor stuff etc. we even had an outdoor, flood lit basketball court, which was great during the summer months.

Hi Phil,
My husbands first name was Tony. THe twins were about 12yrs when they were at Hammondville School in 1968-69 so a little ahead of you. THey were Charlie and Allan. We used to call Charlie, Anthony. I remember Mr. Wells.
Remembered afterwards Neville wasn't skip there as by that time he was in charge of youth activities throughout NSW,so not sure who was before John.
I have a school photo . _________________ Kind regards,
